About
We Care London is a non-profit charity dedicated to offering emotional, practical, and social support to those in need in London. Our mission is to provide vital services like hospital transport, care packages, and support for unpaid carers. By offering emergency help, community referrals, and befriending, we aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Londoners.
Caring for the Caregivers
Introduction
Behind every person in need is someone who quietly provides love, care, and strength—often at the expense of their own wellbeing. At We Care London, we exist to ensure that these unpaid caregivers—young and old—are no longer overlooked.
We provide emotional support, practical resources, and inclusive programs to help caregivers regain balance, dignity, and a sense of belonging. Whether it’s a teenager caring for a parent, or a senior looking after a spouse, we walk alongside them on their journey.

Our Story
Our organization was founded out of the lived experience of Alan Rothbart, a devoted caregiver whose family’s emotional and social wellbeing was deeply challenged during their caregiving journey.
They faced:
-
Emotional exhaustion
-
Anxiety and stress
-
Social isolation
-
A lack of professional and community support
-
The stigma of asking for help
Alan’s experience uncovered a painful truth—caregivers are often forgotten in the systems designed to care for others. What began as one family's challenge became a broader mission to make sure others never feel as alone as they did.
